Hackathon'Vitality & Society' for PhD students

On our quest for a more vital society, the ‘Vitality Academy’ (including Sport & Society), together with the municipalities of Eindhoven and Utrecht, educational institutes and several large commercial partners, organize the Hackathon ‘Vitality & Society'. On 17 and 18 January 2018  small and  interdisciplinary teams of PhD and PDEng students will compete in inventing and developing new, smart solutions for real vitality issues in three social domains: work, education & urban.

The attending partners from these domains have a strong interest in the issues at hand and play an important role in defining the criteria and preconditions for the requested solutions. This hackathon offers PhD and PDEng students the chance to develop new academic skills and knowhow, to collaborate with colleagues from different areas of expertise and to enlarge their professional network. Furthermore it embodies the ambition of the Vitality Academy to utilize vitality as a combinative theme between several areas of knowledge and practice.
