God running the show in medieval astrology

Radio programme OVT by VPRO broadcasting company visits the department of Special Collections

Documentary maker Christianne Alvarado made the radio documentary ‘Sterrenbeelden’ about the history and constant popularity of astrology. As part of the programme she visited the department of Special Collections at Utrecht University Library. Together with assistant professor of Art History Sanne Frequin and curator of printed works Andrea van Leerdam, she leafed through medieval manuscripts and 16^th-century books. One of the consulted works was Chyromantia by Johannes Indagine.
