Tour Rock Garden

When you enter the Botanic Gardens, you immediately see the Rock Garden: its highest point, atop Fort Hoofddijk, is some 12 metres above the fort's moat. In terms of species diversity and surface area, it is one of the largest rock gardens in Europe. During the Sharing Days, garden employee Marloes Adamse will show you around. She will tell you all the ins and outs about the history of this part of the garden, which special species can be seen and, of course, we will walk past everything that is flowering at that moment. Because Marloes works in this special garden section every day, she offers you a unique look behind the scenes.
Lots of walking and viewing pleasure!

At the same time, there are also tours through the Evolution Garden and Discovery Garden.
