An inspiring lecture with lecturer Anne van Ewijk
Would you like to learn more about Design Thinking to tackle difficult issues and solve them creatively? Attend a pilot lecture from the course Understanding and applying Design Thinking and get inspired! Anne van Ewijk, an experienced lecturer with a passion for innovation, will take you through an hour-long session on generating and formulating effective ideas to achieve creative solutions. The session consists of a combination of doing it yourself in a series of exercises and learning together through reflection on the process, based on the scientific literature.

Anne van Ewijk
Anne van Ewijk obtained her PhD from Universitat Pompei Fabra and has seven years' experience as a management consultant in Spain and the Netherlands. In the 2015 she went back to university and specialised in innovation and entrepreneurship education at Abu Dhabi University. For her interactive teaching methods, she won the Best Teaching Award in 2019. Now she is coordinator of the Professional Skills programme at Utrecht University and a lecturer in various innovation and entrepreneurship subjects, including for science faculty and education for professionals.
Sharing Days
Every year in June, the Sharing Days take place in Utrecht. This alumni event with festival vibes offers a jam-packed program with numerous activities in the fields of science, research, sports and culture. Spread across locations on the Science Park and in the lively city center of Utrecht, the Alumni Office facilitates workshops, tours, master classes and other festivities especially for all alumni of Utrecht University.
