Collaboration
The 3RCU is represented in various national and international activities, for issuing advice on the responsible use of laboratory animals and encouraging laboratory animal alternatives in education and research.
The 3RCU works together with, among others:
- The Animal Welfare Body (Instantie voor Dierenwelzijn) of Utrecht University and the University Medical Center Utrecht.
- The EU-COST IMPROVE initiative
- The NC3Rs
- The “Dierenwelzijn en Proefdierkunde″, part of the Dier in Wetenschap en Maatschappij department and part of the Departement Population Health Sciences of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University
- The Stichting Proefdiervrij
