Through close ties with TPI Utrecht, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the University of Applied Sciences, we try to stimulate the application of the 3Rs in education.

In addition, we teach about the 3Rs in the broadest sense of the term, for example:

  • in the Proefdierkunde (Laboratory Animal Science) course;
  • in relevant Master programmes (aimed at anyone who sets up research with laboratory animals);
  • through targeted refresher courses (in the context of Life-Long Learning).

We also combine supply and demand by matching interns with research projects and we provide access on this website to several useful tools for the application of the 3Rs in education
