Anne Joppe has been working as a Lecturer & PhD candidate in European Labour Law at the IER-department since February 2022. She is connected to the Utrecht Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe (RENFORCE). Her research focuses on the protection of workers against issues arising because of algorithmic management, which is the use of algorithmic systems on the side of the employer. She specifically looks into the worker's rights to non-discrimination and data protection. The research is supervised by Sybe de Vries and Frans Pennings. For education, she is involved in courses regarding both European law and labour law.
