I am a PhD candidate specializing in the realm of plant functional traits (PFTs), with a particular focus on the aboveground components of vegetation. My research aims to unravel the intricate relationship between plant functional traits and ecosystem productivity, aiming to unearth their pivotal role in predicting ecological stability. The main of my PhD project involves exploring the predictive capacity of functional traits in determining ecosystem stability, with a specific emphasis on understanding the correlation between plant traits and productivity. Through meticulous investigations into the responses of functional traits to variations in plant diversity and precipitation patterns, my ultimate goal is to contribute substantively to the prediction and management of ecosystem stability.
