UGlobe Masterclass: Judge Christine van den Wyngaert

On 17 March 2017, Judge Christine van den Wyngaert gave the  UGlobe/UCIS Masterclass “International criminal justice at a crossroads: the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end?”

Judge Van den Wyngaert is an international and comparative criminal law expert, who has served as a Judge of the International Criminal Court since 2009. From 2003 to 2005, she was a Judge at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and from 2000 to 2002 an ad hoc judge on the International Court of Justice.

UGlobe Masterclasses are led by prominent figures who will share their personal knowledge and insights into a relevant theme. They are meant to be less formal, with Chatham House Rules applying.
