Troy: City, Homer and Turkey

Troy: City, Homer and Turkey

No other city has triggered the imagination throughout the centuries as Troy. This handbook, with contributions by experts from the Netherlands and Turkey, presents the latest findings with regard to both the historical and the legendary Troy.

The book accompanies the exhibition 'Troje: stad, Homerus, Turkije', which is on view from 7 December 2012 to 5 May 2013 in the Allard Pierson Museum, the archaeology museum of the University of Amsterdam. The book is available in Dutch, English, and Turkish.

One of the editors (and co-author) is Dr Floris van den Eijnde, Assistant Professor in Ancient History at the department of History and Art History.
