Start your own company: from idea to startup

Have you been walking around with a good idea that could lead to a successful startup? Startup incubator UtrechtInc offers a program - tailor-made for students who want to combine a startup with their studies. In March, the new batch of Student Startup Validation starts. Will you apply?

During the validation programme student startups earn to understand their product, customer and business model in a few months’ time. The programme offers workshops, activities for team building, free co-working spaces at Utrecht Science Park, mentorships and introductions to relevant partners and investors.

From idea to startup

Do you have a good - and scalable - idea and are you eager to discover whether entrepreneurship suits you? Or are you already (co-)founder of your own startup, but haven't found the perfect product/market fit yet? Student Startup Validation might also be interesting for existing startups, since every startup works with its own coach. Next to that, there is support from experienced experts in the field of startup entrepreneurship, pitching, customer discovery and product development.

The program lasts five months (March to July) and takes a minimum of ten hours per week, of which 1 to 2 are contact hours. Participating startups pay a commitment fee, which is refunded upon active participation in the program. At least one team member of each startup has to be a student.
