New teacher development offer
Would you like to keep developing yourself as a teacher? The Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning organises interesting workshops and webinars (W&W) focused on teacher development.
In October, you can attend sessions on how to effectively supervise theses, where you will work on how to give your students more instructive feedback, or the session focused on the teacher role in a Challenge Based Learning (CBL) course, and how it differs from the traditional teacher role. You can also attend a session on AI; learn what ChatGPT's capabilities are, and what limitations the chatbot has.
As part of the diversity month, the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) programme is also organising several sessions in October, where you can, for example, learn more about developing an inclusive curriculum.
