Multidisciplinairy Internship Food & Sustainability at Unilever

UNILEVER INVITES YOU TO JOIN THE CHALLENGE!

Unilever offers a 3 month internship for Master students at their R&D facility in Vlaardingen to help solve a real-life challenge in the area of Food & Sustainability.

Students from Social Sciences, Economics, Ethics and Philosophy, and Environmental Biology will work as a team (with one team consisting of 1 student from each faculty to form interdisciplinary teams) to address a challenge in the area of:

New sustainable foods and habits leading to lower ecological footprint

You will have access to relevant materials and products during the internship, and will get to interview the problem-owners/stakeholders. You will be asked to propose a solution to the problem integrating the above expertises, and write a joint report to be presented to Unilever.

We are looking for ambitious students, who are not afraid to take on a challenge, have affinity with industry and society, and who aspire to contribute to creating a sustainable future for ourselves and next generations. You want to learn from other disciplines to stretch your own boundaries.

Please send your motivation and CV to the contact person from your faculty (see below) as soon as possible. You may be invited to come to Unilever as part of the interview and selection process.

This challenge can contribute to the “vrije ruimte” in your curriculum (15 ECTS) and is planned to start late October 2015.
