Dr Titus Pacho visiting researcher at Centre for Global Challenges

Dr Titus Pacho, Lecturer in Educational Sciences will be a visiting researcher at the Centre for Global Challenges.  Starting today, Dr Pacho will be staying at Utrecht University for a month.

At the Centre for Global Challenges, dr. Pacho will be undertaking research on global citizenship education in higher education in Europe and be working with the Centre on the development of Community Service Learning (CSL).

Titus O. Pacho is Senior Lecturer Educational Sciences at the School of Education and Human Resource Development at Kisii University in Kenya, and has a background in philosophy and education. He is the author of two books, several articles, book chapters, and learning modules, including Critical and Creative Education for the New Africa (2013) and Service-Learning in Higher Education in Africa (2018). His research focuses on innovative approaches to education for responsible citizenry and social transformation. He received a PhD in Educational Science with a focus on Service-Learning from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Prior to working in higher education, he taught at secondary school level.
