Data science courses during the Utrecht Summer School
Do you want to brush up your data science skills? This summer, the Utrecht Summer School offers over 20 courses in the field of data science, both on location and online. Data science: Data Analysis
Do you want to learn how to make predictions about future events and uncover hidden structures in data? The course Data science: Data Analysis teaches you how to use a range of techniques and algorithms from statistics, machine learning and data mining to interpret real data. The course takes place from the 18th to the 22nd of July.
Exploring Culture through Data: Digital methods & Data practices
Most researchers in the social and behavioural sciences have encountered the problem of missing data: It seriously complicates the statistical analysis of data, and simply ignoring it is not a good strategy. A general and statistically valid technique to analyse incomplete data is multiple imputation. From the 15th to the 19th of August you’ll learn how to form imputation models.
