Do you and your team work together to improve education? Or do you know a team that has delivered an exceptional performance? Compete for UU Team Award!

This year the UU Team Award will again be awarded to a team that has made an extraordinary impact on our education. The team that wins this the Team Award may submit a nomination for the Dutch Education Award on behalf of UU. This award aims to acknowledge educational teams which have developed an innovative educational initiative over the last four years. Nominated teams have the chance of winning an amount of €1.2 million, €800,000 or €500,000 (total €2.5 million).

In 2021, the Mixed Classroom team from Urban Futures Studio won the second prize of the Dutch Higher Education Award. In 2023 the team of The New Utrecht School competed, but unfortunately did not make it to the final round.

The first UU Team Award was awarded in July 2023 to team CHARM-EU, which has recently submitted the nomination for the Dutch Education Award.

For next year, there are new chances to win the prize. For 2025, UU may again submit one nomination for a successful educational team that has made an outstanding or exceptional contribution to the renewal and/or improvement of higher education in the past four years. This year’s selection of the nomination will be done through awarding the UU Team Award.
