Call for Papers for Special Issue Research Policy: The Governance of Artificial Intelligence

The effects of AI, robotics and the digital transformation on labour markets

Professor Maarten Goos of Utrecht University is guest editor of a special issue of the journal Research Policy, welcoming papers on artificial intelligence, big data, robotics and the digital transformation. 

This Special Issue aims to explicitly tackle the governance of AI, robotics and the digital transformation and its effect on labour markets. Maarten Goos is professor of Economics and Institutions at Utrecht University and one of the key figures in the Future of Work hub at Utrecht University. In this hub, scholars form various disciplines collaborate on answering questions on the future of work.

Call for Papers

The deadline for extended abstract submissions to the Guest Editors (M.Savona@sussex.ac.uk and M.Goos@uu.nl) is March 1, 2020.

They specifically welcome contributions to the following three sub-themes:

1. The effects of AI, robotics and the digital transformation on labour markets.

2. Penetration and regulation of digital technologies.

3. The value and governance of data.
