We're thrilled to announce the upcoming visit of the Tarumbeta group, part of the vibrant youth network YADEN - Youth, Arts, Development & Entrepreneurship Network in East Africa. On the eventing of April 25, Tarumbeta will give a performance at Bibliotheek Neude in Utrecht.

April 25: Public Performance at Bibliotheek Neude, Utrecht

Tarumbeta Africa is a Kenyan dance group comprised of youths from the slums of the capital, Nairobi. Join us for their performance at Bibliotheek Neude on the evening of April 25th (19:00 - 21:00), admission is free. Simply click the registration button below to secure your spot.

Eight members of the larger Tarumbeta group are visiting, and during their stay, they'll offer a range of performances and workshops. From thought-provoking pop-up performances to immersive workshops, they'll demonstrate how they utilize drama and performing arts to spark conversations on sensitive and complex topics.

Stay tuned for a performance in Tivoli, in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities

April 24

Experience their talent firsthand at the launch of UGlobe Entrepreneurship-led sustainable development in Africa flagship at USE in the late afternoon. Later in the evening, catch their performance on UCU campus.

April 25

Explore their creativity during the day at UMCU Global Health day (to be confirmed), and join us in the evening for a free public event at Bibliotheek Neude.
