SIG Academic Writing meeting

Last September we started with the USO project ‘Promoting the reading and writing nexus: how teachers can guide students in becoming academic writers across the curriculum. This year, we are mainly focusing on the students. Which strategies do they use when writing synthesis texts? What type of writing assignments do they encounter? And what kind of student texts do we perceive to be good, sufficient or insufficient? During this SIG meeting, we will inform you about the project’s progress and also would be very interested to hear your input on our preliminary results!
