Sibel  is an applied educational researcher and teacher educator, working at different educational systems and levels internationally. She was a biology teacher at secondary grammar schools during her  PhD period.

The applicability of the research and the evidence-based approaches in practice are important for her.

Her expertise is  focused on

·       the teaching and instruction quality, 

·       the cross-cultural comparisons of interpersonal relationships,

·       students’ perceptions of their teachers’ behaviour, attitudes and communication.

 She is especially interested in teacher’s professional development because the teacher is the key element of every educational context.

She  supports  the  higher education teachers’ training and professional consultation.
