I am an Asslociate Professor of Software Technology for Learning and Teaching at the Department of Information and Computing Sciences, Utrecht University (UU). My research interests lie at the crossroads of AI in Education, Technology-Enhanced Learning, Adaptive Systems and New Web Technologies. I am the coordinator of the AI in Education Lab @UU. I hold a PhD degree in Information Sciences from University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) and an MSc-level Dimploma in Information Systems from Kazan State Technological University (Kazan, Russia).
