In the Human Geography BA, I teach two core courses related to Philosophy of Science and History of Geography; these are Fundamenten (Foundations) in the first year, and Wetenschap & Samenleving (Science & Society) in the third year. Within the BA as a whole, I coordinate the conceptual trajectory. I sometimes supervise honours students in their BA theses.

My other teaching is mainly in the Master's in Human Geography (from 2023-2024 renamed Urban and Economic Geography). Within this programme, I used to teach Regions in European Policy (5 EC, with Ton van Rietbergen), which will be replaced by a new course from 2024-2025 onwards. I also teach a module on spatial econometrics in the M&T Specialisation course; I contribute to the opening course Urban Futures; and finally, in that programme I also coordinate the Master's theses and internships for those specializing in economic geography, and I supervise a few of those theses every year.

The department of Human Geography and Planning offers an optional Minor in Geography to the students of the Economics Bachelor, and on the Geography side I used to coordinate this programme, as well as designing, redesigning and teaching most of its courses.
