General project description

The three objectives of the INTEGRITY project are in line with the following sectoral and horizontal priorities:

Objective 1: Better preparation of students to act with integrity during their education and conduct research with integrity upon completion of their education.

This objective is in line with the three horizontal and sectoral priorities:
-The INTEGRITY project aims at developing an educational pathway for students in Research Integrity, from Bachelor to PhD level. The curriculum is tailored to the level of the student. The development of a competency profile at the start of the project guarantees that the different levels of the curriculum fit well together.
-This project contributes to the development of curricula relevant to the job market and societal needs. There is a clear societal need to act in an integer way in general and more specifically to conduct research in an integer way. This project teaches students how they can act in an integer way, both during their studies and upon graduation.
-This project contributes to open education and innovative practices in a digital era. The tools and templates that are developed during the project are available for other universities and all the educational material is developed as blended (both online and face to face) education. The offer of blended education guarantees access to Research Integrity education to large numbers of students.

Objective 2: Increased level of digital teaching skills and use of digital tools for integrity teaching

This objective is in line with the horizontal priority "open education and innovative practices in a digital era". One of the critical success factors of high quality online education is the involvement of skilled teaching staff that is able to teach online education and to moderate the didactical process of online education.

Objective 3: Facilitate the translation of the existing codes of conduct into the curriculum and policy of Higher Education Institutions.
