Jan de Boer is an Open Access Advisor within the Publishing Support department at the Utrecht University Library.  He advises researchers and policy makers on open access in general and is mainly concerned with:

• Collecting data on het OA availability of publications and open access costs.
• Open Access strategy
• Open infrastructures

Jan holds a Master’s degree in Early Modern Dutch literature and has years of experience within the library as a subject specialist for the Humanities, Faculty liaison for Social Sciences and project leader.

Jan is a proud member of the Open Science Community Utrecht and worked as a consultant for ASReview, the open source AI software for systematic reviewing.
