Project title:
Aggregate Confusion of ESG Ratings in the Water Sector: Quantifying the divergence of ESG Ratings at the firm level and across subsectors
Awardee: Michele Joie Prawiromaruto (Master's in Sustainable Development)
Synopsis: Private sector involvement is increasingly becoming important in the water sector. The flow of capital towards firms in the private sector, however, is becoming more and more influenced by the ESG (environmental, social, governance) ratings that they receive. This project aims to quantify the extent of divergence of ESG ratings at the firm level across all subsectors within the water sector.
Duration: April-Nov 2023
