Ivana Ljuština is a PhD researcher in Cultural Anthropology. She graduated in Ethnology and Cultural anthropology from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

Her reserach background is in studying displacement and migration in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Slovenia. As a part of the Sovereignty and Social Contestation research group at the department of Cultural Anthropology in Utrecht,  she is working on the project "Movement(s) along the Balkan Route: Borders, Citizenship, and Everyday Geopolitics". Her current research explores the interplay of past and present migration in the borderlands of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
