Isa Bertram is assistant professor at the Utrecht University School of Governance (USG). Her research links governance and public administration studies to social psychological theory and literature, focusing on the relationship between citizens and their government. Isa is also often involved in research projects of USG consultancy. 

In her PhD, The Faces of Bureaucracy, she investigated the stereotypes that exist about civil servants and how they influence the relationship between citizens and the government.
