Trudy Mooren, prof. dr., is as a clinical psychologist and endowed professor involved in research and training in the field of psychotraumatology. Her studies focus on the consequences of individual traumatization on the immediate social surroundings and vice versa. Her chair is directed at the study of the consequences of psychotrauma for family relationships. Trudy Mooren works as a clinical psychologist in diagnosing, treating and training at ARQ Centrum '45. Specifically she works with youth and families, of target groups (ex) military, refugees and asylumseekers and generations of the Second World War. Her aim is to improve interventions for children and families after war and migration (e.g., multifamily groups). She is a licensed supervisor of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapy (NVP) and is a licensed EMDR and family therapist (NVRG, member of the scientific advisory committee, WAC). She is head of education of the postmaster training of clinical psychologists (adults and elderly) at the RINOgroep.
