From 2012 to 2016 Jasmijn worked on her PhD research focused on the sustainable employability of hospital employees. Part of this was a researchproject commissioned by the Stichting Arbeidsmarkt Ziekenhuizen (StAZ). This research was directed at the development of a self-assessment instrument. Employees of Dutch hospitals can assess their employability, careerwishes and career possibilities with this instrument. The instrument was further validated in the PhD research of Evelien van Leeuwen.

 

From 2016 to 2019, Jasmijn was chair person of the Faculty Council of the Utrecht University's Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance.

 

In 2018, Jasmijn was visiting scholar at the KU Leuven, Belgium, where she worked with Anneleen Forrier and Nele De Cuyper.

 

Jasmijn was chair of the Future of Health Care Work Seminar that took place at Utrecht University in november 2018.

 

Jasmijn also teaches at USG. She lectures several graduate and undergraduate courses. Since 2021, she is programme director of the Master's programme Strategic HRM. She has supervised more than 40 graduate students on themes such as: sustainable employability, career development, the role of the direct supervisor in these processes, and the contributions of HRM to individual and organizational performance. 

 

Since 2016, Jasmijn is daily supervisor for several PhD projects, amongst others focused on sustainable employment of people with disabilities.
