Eline Huygens is a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University and is also affiliated with KU Leuven. She conducts research on parenting encounters, and on practices and narratives of boundary-making in everyday life settings.
Previously, she was at Ghent University where she worked as a teaching assistant and doctoral researcher (2017-2023). She obtained a joint PhD between Ghent University and KU Leuven in Gender and Diversity Studies and Religious Studies with the dissertation entitled Living a Catholic life : understanding the intimate lives of young Catholic women in Flanders.
She is also a book review editor at the academic journal Religion and Gender.
