I'm a research data manager in the Research Data Management Support team of the University Library. In this position, I deal with supporting researchers in the areas of data privacy and Research Data Management. At the moment, I'm working on:

  • The Data Privacy Project, in which we are collecting and developing practical information and tools about handling privacy-sensitive research data
  • The Connecting Data in Child Development (CD2) project, in which we harmonize the metadata of several longitudinal child cohorts and make them searchable via an online catalogue
  • Supporting researchers with Research Data Management tasks to store research data and software according to the FAIR principles and increase the reproducibility of research output. I can help with, a.o.:
    • writing a data management plan
    • documenting research data and software
    • working with version control (e.g., git)
    • taking into account privacy-sensitive data
    • working with reproducible tools such as Jupyter notebooks and R markdown
    • storing and archiving research data and software
    • publishing research data and software

Feel free to contact me or the RDM Support team with questions about or help on any (or additional) of these subjects.
