Carlotta Capurro is an Assistant Professor in Digital Cultural Heritage in the Cultural History section of Utrecht University. She is a historian of art and culture with a keen interest in digital technologies. Her work is situated at the intersection of cultural history, critical heritage studies and digital heritage practice. Carlotta’s research focuses on the ethics and politics of digital cultural heritage, digital archives, and data infrastructures. She has extensive experience in heritage digitisation, 3D modelling and digital restoration, and in the use of digital technologies for cultural heritage institutions.
