Dr. Aleksandr Prigozhin

Lecturer
Comparative Literature

I received a PhD in English Literature from the University of Chicago in 2017. I research the media imaginaries, affective structures, and materialities that underlie novelistic remediations of history in modernist and contemporary literatures in English. My first book manuscript, Modernism, Media, and the Politics of Common Life, is forthcoming in 2025 with the Hopkins Studies in Modernism Series from Johns Hopkins University Press. At Utrecht University, I teach BA and RMA courses in English and Comparative Literature.
