Naomi van Steenbergen is an assistant professor, teaching ethics, political philosophy and the history of philosophy. Her research deals with climate ethics and with moral psychology, in particular personal responsibilities in situations of (practically) infinite moral demands.
Naomi gained her PhD from the University of Essex (UK) in 2013 with a thesis on Heidegger’s phenomenological method. She held postdoctoral fellowships at Utrecht University and the New Europe College: Institute for Advanced Study in Bucharest (Romania).
