My research deals with climate ethics and with questions concerning justice and responsibility, in particular personal responsibilities in situations of (practically) infinite moral demands. I have an early-stage research project on the justification of disruptive political protest and civil disobedience. I teach ethics, political philosophy and the history of philosophy. 

I am the author, together with Carla Kessler, of Ethiek in Praktijk [Ethics in Practice], a book with guidance for dealing with ethical dilemmas in professional practice. I enjoy doing research for and with external organisations and regularly contribute to education for professionals.
