Dr. Lynn Boschloo is assistant professor at the Clinical Psychology department of Utrecht University. Her research is imbedded in the Dutch-Flemish Experimental Psychopathology (EPP) lab.

 

Dr. Boschloo did her PhD research at VU University in Amsterdam and completed a postdoc at the University Medical Center Groningen. In 2017, she was awarded the national early career VENI grant of the Netherlands Organization for Health Research and Development (ZonMw) and worked as assistant professor at VU University in Amsterdam. In 2021, she started as assistant professor at the Clinical Psychology department of Utrecht University.

 

Her research focuses on narrowing the gap between psychological research and clinical practice. She has been on the forefront of the application of innovative network estimation techniques to embrace the diversity of psychopathology in general and, more specifically, of depression. In more recent years, she uses similar techniques to unravel the working mechanisms of various depression treatment, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and antidepressant medication.
