Collaborations
In addition to the joint research activities with scientists both in the Netherlands and abroad, lecturers and researchers of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences also collaborate with (local) authorities, industry and non-profit organisations. Close relations exist between the Faculty and Altrecht, the Institute for Psychotrauma, Centrum '45, ZonMw, Eduniek in Onderwijs, Statistics Netherlands, and TNO and also the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs. Part of the collaborative efforts are expressed by the establishment of special chairs.
Social advisory body (Maatschappelijke adviesraad)
The Faculty has set up a social advisory body to intensify the dialogue with civil society. The advisory body consists of representatives from those organisations that the Faculty has structural collaborations with or intends to set these up with. The members of the advisory body advise on the Faculty research and teaching activities and their social entrenchment. The focus is on specific practical issues.
