How do prematurely born infants develop? What is the impact of bullying, parental divorce, or the serious illness or death of a parent on the development of a child? What happens when children become juvenile delinquents ?
The Department of Clinical Child & Family Studies carries out research into these and other challenges. In doing so, it aims to support parents raising their children, to obtain answers that may be incorporated into municipal policy, to develop and optimize diagnostic tools such as questionnaires and tests, to elaborate early prevention and treatment programmes, and to study their effectiveness.
