Career prospects

The programme prepares students for jobs on the staff of international and domestic private and public organisations, where analytical and communicative skills are the foremost requirement. Examples are large firms, governmental organisations (ministries) that handle international relations, international organisations such as the OECD, the World Bank, the European Commission and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Furthermore, experience shows that many graduates from our academic economics programmes successfully apply for management positions in the organisations just mentioned. The programme provides a solid foundation for a research career as well. Graduates are prepared for PhD studies.
