CAS awards
The award for the best dissertation is given once every two years by CAS to recognize outstanding scholarship in doctoral dissertation research. The dissertation award concerns dissertations which have been defended in the two previous academic years. Innovation, scientific importance and – quality, and societal impact are just a few examples of the criteria applied by the assessment committee.
Both prizes are awarded at the CAS Research Day in spring.
