Admission Procedure for Degree Students

In order to study at University College Utrecht, you need to have to meet the entry requirements. You can find more information on our Entry Requirements page. If you are unsure about your eligibility, feel free to get in touch with our Admissions Office by sending an email to ucu.admissions@uu.nl

All deadlines expire at 23:59 (midnight) Central European Time on the date stated. You have to complete the whole application process (including submitting your application documents in OSIRIS Online Application) by this date.

We advise you to apply as early as possible. The earlier you apply, the more time there is for us to help you in case your application file is not yet complete.

Keep in mind that when applying for the Fall round, you need to apply by the 1 December deadline if you also want to be considered for a UCU financial aid scholarship or would like to receive your decision early. Below are the documents that you must include in your application to University College Utrecht:

• Scan of your passport or EU national ID card valid at the start of the programme
• Diploma (or diploma statement for student who have not yet graduated)
• Latest or final grade transcript or report card
• Proof of English language proficiency
• Statement of academic motivation
• UCU activities form
• Contact details of one academic referee
• Financial aid documents (if applicable)

You apply to University College Utrecht online through Studielink.

• Go to Studielink.
  • If you live in the Netherlands, log in with your DigiD.
    You can apply for a DigiD here. You will receive your activation code through the post within five days.
  • If you do not live in the Netherlands, create a Studielink account without DigiD. 
• You will receive login details for OSIRIS online application by email. 

Do you have all of the required documents at hand? Then start the online application.

The application portal for enrolment will open in October. To access the application form, you must first register using Studielink. You will then receive an email from Studielink with access details to the online application form.

Applying for financial aid is part of the general application procedure. The application for financial aid is a section located within the Osiris online application.  More information.

University College Utrecht has one Fall application round. Check the deadlines to submit your application on time.
