Career support

There are many, many degree programmes and just as many opportunities in the labour market. While some degree programmes focus more on professional practice and others on research, they all offer you the space to choose your own path. How will you reach the position that is right for you?

Information, advice and training

At Utrecht University, we believe it is important to give students (and graduates up to six months after graduation) career guidance. We do so in a number of ways. Your faculty can give you information and advice about your specialist field. Some faculties devote explicit attention to how the labour market should be approached. Career Services also offers workshops focused on career orientation and job application skills. A few examples include writing an application letter and CV, taking part in a job interview and working consciously and effectively.
