Utrecht Science Park with buildings, rainbow bike path and tram

Utrecht Science Park is the home of most Utrecht University courses. The campus is located in the east, just outside the city, and is a short tram or bus ride from the city centre. Many students live on campus in accomodations including the colourful Casa Confetti building. While studying at UU, you can play sports at the Olympos sports centre, visit the Spar convenience store for groceries, have a drink at one of the café-restaurants and get your study materials at the various specialist shops.

The university buildings were designed by famous architects to reflect the spirit of the university and the city. The UMC Utrecht teaching hospital, HU University of applied sciences and the botanic gardens Hogeschool Utrecht and the Botanic Gardens are all close to the university and student accommodation. Utrecht Science Park is growing all the time, as large companies have relocated their offices there during the past few years. Who knows, perhaps you will find an interesting internship opportunity there in a few years!
