Pre-departure & arrival events
Utrecht University wants all our international students to feel at home in Utrecht. To this end, the university organises a range of (online) events and activities for prospective, admitted and current international students every academic year.
Events for admitted students
Once you have decided to study at Utrecht university, you will be welcomed with several events throughout your study year.
- Pre-departure weeks: once you have been admitted to the programme, the university will arrange a series of webinars and online sessions to help you prepare for your arrival in Utrecht.
- UU Welcome Week: When you arrive, you will be invited to join our Welcome Week to help you get to know the university, the city of Utrecht and each other!
- Warm Welcome: during the year, the UU Warm Welcome Teams organise a number of activities and events for all international students to help you become acquainted with Dutch culture.
