Congratulations! By now you have received (or hopefully you are close) to receiving a letter of admission from Utrecht University. Going to a new country, a new university, a new culture is quite daunting, but we will try to help you have the best experience as possible.
Several things require your attention when preparing for your stay in Utrecht. You can use this checklist to help you on your way.

1. Arrange housing
Start to look for housing as soon as possible. Finding accommodation in Utrecht is not easy and often underestimated.
2. Get an entry visa/residence permit (if applicable)
Check if you require an entry visa and/or residence permit for your study period in The Netherlands.
3. Fulfil your conditions for admission
Make sure to fulfill all your conditions for admission and accept your offer in the programme.
4. Pay your tuition fees
How to pay your tuition fee depends on your nationality.
5. Get insurance
Get adequate insurance for your stay in Utrecht.
6. Join our pre-departure weeks
