In my teaching, I focus on a variety of topics such as communication processes between teachers and students, the development of teacher expertise, and connecting with students whose home culture is relatively distant from the school culture. As a lecturer at Utrecht University, I am involved in various programmes for teacher training, educational sciences and pedagogy.
