In my teaching, I focus on teacher-student communication processes and topics such assessment and motivation, assessment and creativity, and the development of (teacher) expertise.
As a teacher at Utrecht University, I am involved in various programs for teacher education and educational sciences. Together with Brianna Kennedy, I coordinate the course Teachers and Teaching of the research master program Educational Sciences. I also am coordinating the training program for PhD students affiliated with the national research school Interuniversity Centre for Educational Research (ICO) for the theme Teaching and Teacher education.
