Dr. Viktorija Morozovaite

Viktorija Morozovaite is a postdoctoral researcher at the International and European Law department of the Utrecht School of Law. She is affiliated with Governing the Digital Society focus area and Utrecht Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe (RENFORCE). Her areas of expertise lie in topics related to digital competition, intersection between competition law and regulation and EU's digital policy, platform ecosystems, user behaviour, emergent technologies and user interfaces.

In 2023, Viktorija has completed her PhD on hypernudging (dynamically personalised user steering) practices and European competition law, with specific focus on Big Tech. Her research was conducted as part of the fulfilment of the ERC Starting Grant project 'Modern Bigness' led by Prof. Anna Gerbrandy and was co-supervised by Prof. José van Dijck. 

Viktorija is also a former Visiting Researcher at Annenberg School for Communication at University of Pennsylvania (October 2022 - December 2022) and a Visiting Research Fellow at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz (March 2022 - June 2022).
