As a PhD candidate in climate physics, I strive to get a better understanding of the fundamental physical processes that make up the Earth’s climate system. In my project, I focus on the realistic representation of sub-shelf melt in ice sheet models which will lead to improved insights into the uncertainty in the contribution to sea-level rise from the Antarctic Ice Sheet.
