Together with my colleagues at the department of Sociology I look for partnerships between society and science. I connect our scientist's outputs with those who might benefit from it, while at the same time guiding the organization to structure itself such that impact and valorization become integrated in the scientific process. To ensure that our supply of and society's demand for scientific output match, I help with translating outputs to increase accessibility as well as creating a community of scientists and societal partners where a two-way knowledge exchange can take place. I believe that both science and society stand to gain a lot from each other when the perceived gap between them is bridged.
