Van Buuren is a global leader in the analysis of incomplete data. He is author of the book Flexible Imputation of Missing Data and applies missing data techniques to data from many fields. His MICE technique is rapidly gaining a growing share of international users. At TNO he develops new tools to monitor growth and development of children. Currently he is working on new technologies for personalized predictions of interventions on health.
